Engagement Rate Calculator
Engagement rate is the share of your audience that interacts with a post. The common formula adds likes, comments, shares and saves, divides by followers, and multiplies by 100. For a single video, dividing by views instead shows how many viewers interacted. Enter your numbers below to see both, because brands and platforms use different versions.

FAQ
Questions
How do you calculate engagement rate?
Add likes, comments, shares and saves, divide by followers, and multiply by 100. Dividing by views instead measures how many of the people who saw the post interacted.
What is a good engagement rate?
It depends on the platform, your niche and your audience size, and published benchmarks disagree. Compare your own posts over time: a rising rate on similar posts means the content is landing.
Should I divide by followers or by views?
Followers suits comparing accounts. Views suits judging one short video, because Reels, TikToks and Shorts are often shown to people who don’t follow you.
Do you store my numbers?
No. The calculation runs in your browser.
