Tier List Maker for Reels and TikTok
A tier list ranks things in rows from S, the best, down to F, the worst. This maker builds one as a vertical 9:16 image for Reels, TikTok and Shorts. Type items or add your own images, drag them into tiers and download a 1080 × 1920 PNG. The tiers stay inside the safe zone of the apps you pick, clear of their buttons and caption. Your images stay on your device.
Example: coffee orders, ranked. Clearing it keeps anything you added.
Drag an item to a tier, or tap it and pick where it goes. With a keyboard, focus an item: the up and down arrows change its tier, left and right change its place in the tier.
30 more items fit. Images stay on your device.
Planning the video? Read how to make a tier list reel, and check any frame against each app’s buttons with the Reels safe zone checker. Editing in EditorOP? Its Tier list format animates the list in your reel: each item drops into its row as you say it.
The tiers stay inside 950 × 979 px, clear of the buttons and caption on Instagram Reels.
The shaded areas are a guide and are not saved. Items still in To rank are left out of the image.

FAQ
Questions
How do I make a tier list for a Reel or TikTok?
Build the list here and download the 1080 × 1920 PNG. Use it as the background of a green screen effect in the app’s camera, or put it under your clip in any editor, then talk through each pick. Effect names and menus differ by app and version.
What do S, A, B, C, D and F mean in a tier list?
They work like school grades with an extra tier on top: S is the best, A to D come next, and F is the worst. You can rename any tier, for example to “Must try” and “Skip”.
Why does the tier list sit in the top half of the image?
The apps cover the bottom of the screen with the caption, your name and their buttons. Meta’s guidance for Reels ads keeps 14% of the top, 35% of the bottom and 6% of each side clear, so the tiers fit inside that area. Pick TikTok or Shorts as well and the layout fits the area safe on all of them.
Can I use my own pictures?
Yes. Choose images from your device and each one becomes a square tile, cropped from the centre. They are resized in your browser and never uploaded.
Can I make an empty tier list template?
Yes. Clear the example, name your tiers and download the PNG before you add any items. Items left in To rank stay out of the image too.
How many items can a tier list have?
Up to 40 items across up to 8 tiers. The tiles shrink as the list grows so everything still fits the safe zone, so fewer items give bigger tiles that are easier to read on a phone.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The tool runs in your browser, so your script or file never leaves your device.
